Fresh Coriander Chutney

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch of fresh coriander (cilantro), washed and chopped
  • 1 small green chili (optional, adjust to taste)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 teaspoon grated ginger
  • Juice of ½ lime or lemon
  • 2 tablespoons plain yogurt (or plant-based alternative)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (optional, for smoother texture)
  • A splash of water (to blend)

Instructions

  1. Add all the ingredients to a blender or food processor.
  2. Blend until smooth. Add a bit of water if needed to adjust the consistency.
  3. Taste and adjust salt or lime as needed.
  4. Serve immediately or store in the fridge for up to 3 days.

Serving ideas
Use it as a dip for veggies or crackers, spread on sandwiches or wraps, or as a fresh topping for grain bowls and salads.
